Located on Broad Street, in the former Boswells department store, this newly opened hotel is much more than a place to stay—it’s an immersive experience that invites guests to explore and discover. With 101 beautifully curated rooms, a rooftop bar boasting panoramic views, a restorative spa, and a destination restaurant called 'Treadwell,' The Store creates a tapestry of design, culture, and indulgence. Whether it's a quiet corner to relax or a vibrant space for celebration, The Store offers the perfect blend of elegance and charm in one of Oxford’s most historic buildings.

At CLG London Ltd., we were thrilled to play a part in this luxury transformation by crafting custom leather pieces for The Store's bar and restaurant. Our team was tasked with creating elegant leather menu covers for the bar’s cocktail offerings, sophisticated bill presentation holders, and distinguished menu covers for the restaurant, Treadwell. Each item was crafted from top-grain black leather, exuding a timeless sophistication that complements the hotel's aesthetic.

The project was a perfect fit for CLG’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The choice of top-grain leather ensures durability while maintaining a soft, luxurious feel, ideal for a high-traffic hospitality environment. We embossed the logos in gold on each cover, a design choice that mirrors the hotel's sleek yet opulent feel. The contrast between the black leather and the rich gold embossing not only catches the eye but also reflects the understated elegance The Store is known for.

These custom leather pieces were designed to enhance the guest experience at every touchpoint. From the moment they browse through the cocktail menu at the rooftop bar to the presentation of their bill at the end of a meal at Treadwell, guests are invited into a world of luxury and attention to detail.
